Grassroots donors gave nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in July 2020, as we head into the height of the 2020 election season and organizing for racial justice and pandemic relief continues. Highlights include:
July was the third largest month in ActBlue’s history by dollars raised, total contributions, and unique donors.
July was the largest month ever in terms of the number of campaigns and organizations fundraising on ActBlue.
More than half a million donors gave for the first time in July.
As of the end of July, ActBlue’s cycle-to-date total is over $2.5 billion raised from 11.3 million unique donors, with an average contribution size of $33.
Donors have contributed to more than 19,000 candidates and organizations so far this cycle.
Contributions and dollars to congressional candidates doubled in July 2020 compared to July 2018.
