Who can fundraise?
ActBlue serves eligible federal, state, and local Democratic and progressive candidates, political organizations, and 501(c)(4) nonprofit organizations. AB Charities is a separate entity and works with 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
State & local accounts
Most groups operate with the standard fee structure, but some state and local campaigns may need to create a merchant account when using ActBlue (we can help with this!). If you need a merchant account, you’ll still have access to world-class fundraising features and support, but your campaign will operate with a different fee structure.
